The Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford not only owns an enviable collection of the brand’s bags (and, most likely, scarves, shawls, shoes and other accessories), but also she has what no other brand loyalist has – an Hermes son. She gave her son a name Hermes.
Ok, so her son Hermes wasn’t manufactured by the company like her Hermes Birkin was, but not even noted Birkin collector Victoria Beckham loves the brand enough to name a kid after it. And sure, I know some women with little lapdogs named Gucci or Fendi, but sacrificing a child to brand loyalty takes things to a whole new level. I hope she at least got a gratis Birkin out of it. But to my another opinion, I think the name Hermes for boy is not a bad choice.
